**Optimization Financial Time Series by Robust Regression and Hybrid Optimization Methods**

The optimization problem is the problem of finding the best solution from feasible solution. There are many methods of optimization and there are continuous search for new methods and improve the traditional methods. There is no single method available for solving all optimization problems efficiently and effectively. The common methods for solving the portfolio selection optimization problem are quadratic programming, but it used to solve programming problems with a quadratic objective function and linear constraints. Genetic Algorithm, which is used to solve nonlinear programming problems, where the objective and constraint functions are nonlinear. In this paper, we introduce comparison between many optimization methods to determine the best one for optimization of financial time series. The results of the study indicates that the the hybrid optimization method better than genetic algorithm. So, we apply the proposed methodology on the data of the Egyptian Stock Market.

**Tumor Detection in MRI Images using MultiLevel based Segmentation**

Brain Tumor detection in MRI images is an important and challenging research since the structure of the brain images is very complicated and detection of tumor in these image is difficult to achieve. Hence various techniques are implemented for the detection of tumor in brain over MRI images so that the detection can be done easily and quickly. The work done in [1] is the comparative analysis of various segmentation techniques for the tumor detection in MRI images such as using clustering and using Genetic algorithm, but the technique implemented here is suitable for only known images and search spaces area is not very large. Here in this paper a new and efficient technique for the segmentation of brain tumor is implemented using single and multiple phase based region based segmentation. The proposed methodology implemented here provides efficient searching of tumor in MRI images as well as provides efficient search area of tumor in images.

**Chemical Kinetic, and Thermodynamic of Adsorption-Desorption of cypermethrin in the Soil of South Iraq**

In the present work change in the adsorption-desorption processes of Cypermehrin (pyrethroid), performed by using batch equilibrium experiments on eight agricultural soil samples. The kinetics study for adsorption-desorption processes investigated that first order rate law. Thermodynamic parameters (?G0, ?H0 and ?S0) were also calculated for adsorption process of Cypermehrin at 288.15, 298.15, and 308.15 K. The negative values for each of ?G0, ?H0 and ?S0 constants confirmed that Cypermehrin adsorption processes more at lower temperature and done via enthalpy effect.

Oral leukoplakia (OL) is most commonly encountered pre-cancerous lesion in oral cavity with a risk for malignant transformation. Fractal analysis (FA) helps in diagnostic interpretation of images. It is a multi-step task where the aim is the detection of potential abnormalities.
