MICROBIOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT OF WASTE-WATER AND SOIL IN IJEBU-IGBO ABATTOIR, SOUTHWEST, NIGERIA[]


The study investigates the microbes associated with waste-water and soil sample in Ijebu-Igbo abattoir. The wastewater and soil samples were collected from the abattoir and standard microbial and biochemical analysis were carried out. After analysis, microorganisms isolated include following bacteria and fungi, Escherichia coli, Bacillus cereus, Staphylococcus aureus , Salmonella sp. Klebsiella Pneumonia, Seratia liquefasciens, Bacillus sp, Baccilus Plegem, Aspergillus fimigatus, Aspergillus flavus, Trichoderma harziarum, Penicillum camberti, Aspergillus niger and Rhizopus tolonifer. Total mesophiles aerobic microbial population of waste water shows total heterotrophic count (cfu/ml) ranges from 1.2 x 105 to 3.0 x 105; suspended solids (g/l) ranges from 0.122 to 0.124; nitrate (g/l) ranges from 0.110 to 0.156; oil and grease ranges from0.38 to 0.420; phosphate (g/l) rages from 7.480 to 7.845 and Coliform count (cfu/ml) 0.3 x 105 – 0.6 x 105.


THE MEDIATING EFFECT OF TEACHER SENSE OF EFFICACY ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN WORKING CONDITION OF TEACHERS AND THEIR WILLINGNESS TO REMAIN IN THE PROFESSION[]


This study aimed to investigate the mediating effect of leadership framework of school administrators on the relationship between team-building and self-efficacy of teachers among the 400 teachers in Davao Region. This study employed non-experimental design utilizing descriptive correlation technique. The statistical tools used were mean, pearson-r, regression technique, and medgraph using Sobel z-test. Research instruments on teacher sense of efficacy, working condition of teachers, and willingness to remain in the profession which were validated were used as sources of data. Using pearson-r, the results revealed that there is a significant relationship between teacher sense of efficacy and working condition, there is a significant relationship between teacher sense of efficacy and willingness to remain in the profession, and there is a significant relationship between working condition and willingness to remain in the profession. Utilizing megradph Sobel z-test, the results of the study also suggest that there is also a partial mediation on the effect of teacher sense of efficacy on the relationship between working condition and willingness to remain in the profession.


THE MEDIATING ROLE OF PROFESSIONAL TEACHING ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PRINCIPAL LEADERSHIP AND SCHOOL CULTURE[]


This study aimed to investigate the mediating effect of professional teaching on the relationship between principal leadership and school culture among the 320 teachers in Davao Region. This study employed non-experimental design utilizing descriptive correlation technique. The statistical tools used were mean, pearson-r, regression technique, and medgraph using Sobel z-test. Research instruments on professional teaching, principal leadership, and school culture which were validated were used as sources of data. Using pearson-r, the results revealed that there is a significant relationship between professional teaching and principal leadership, there is a significant relationship between professional teaching and school culture, and there is a significant relationship between principal leadership and school culture. Utilizing megradph Sobel z-test, the results of the study also suggest that there is also a partial mediation on the effect of professional teaching on the relationship between principal leadership and school culture.

Around 850 million people with disabled in the world they could not get proper access to consume tourism products. Even though they could not justify consuming as a customers. Since long period of decades disabled people suffering injustice in their live. According the human right, EU, UIHC law disabled people could not negative mark in our society. Although they can get assistant, access, products equally in any society. However the study is observed, Tourism Accessibility for disabled people an optimistic concept for tourism industry in the Bangladesh.

Techniques to Improve the Wide Angle Scanning Performance of Multiple Beam Smart Antennas[]


This work describes the development of techniques to overcome problems associated with the design and operation of smart antenna systems for mobile systems. In particular the use of closely spaced elements leads to mutual coupling effects which can seriously degrade the beam patterns and can produce very poor impedance matching due to high active reflection coefficients. This work describes how a combination of two techniques, excitation weight compensation and Wide Angle Impedance Matching, can be employed to improve antenna performance. It demonstrates that the simple combination of these two techniques does not provide a satisfactory solution. It describes how the combination of techniques can be refined to produce a final design which demonstrates good beam patterns and impedance match. The validity of this approach has been demonstrated by conducting experimental results on a demonstrator array. Simulation results using the refined approach have been shown to provide good agreement with experimental results.

THE MEDIATING ROLE OF SCHOOL CLIMATE ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN COGNITIVE EMOTIONAL REGULATION AND CLASSROOM DISPOSITION OF RETIRABLE PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS[]


This study aimed to investigate the mediating effect of school climate on the relationship between cognitive emotional regulation and classroom disposition of teachers among the 400 teachers in Davao Region. This study employed non-experimental design utilizing descriptive correlation technique. The statistical tools used were mean, pearson-r, regression technique, and medgraph using Sobel z-test. Research instruments on school climate, cognitive emotional regulation of teachers, and classroom disposition of retirable public school teachers which were validated were used as sources of data. Using pearson-r, the results revealed that there is a significant relationship between school climate and cognitive emotional regulation, there is a significant relationship between school climate and classroom disposition of public school teachers, and there is a significant relationship between cognitive emotional regulation and classroom disposition of public school teachers. Utilizing megradph Sobel z-test, the results of the study also suggest that there is also a partial mediation on the effect of school climate on the relationship between cognitive emotional regulation and classroom disposition of public school teachers.


DESIGN ANALYSIS OF MAGNETOHYDRODYNAMIC (MHD) ELECTRICAL POWER GENERATION TECHNOLOGY[]


Power generation has been an age-long issue in African countries. Insufficient power generation has hampered many developmental activities as many manufacturing companies found it difficult to operate in this region. Efforts are on high gear to provide alternative sources of electrical energy. Solar, wind, dam technologies among others have been found helpful in many settings but each has its own peculiar limitations and disadvantages. In the south east of Nigeria, there are abundances of coal and gas deposits. This work therefore is poised towards harnessing these natural resources to generate constant electricity using the magneto-dynamics technology. In Magneto-dynamics technology plasma is directed in between two bar magnet, as the plasma is passing through the two bar magnet, electricity is generated. These coal and gas are available in large quantities for heating the liquids into gaseous (ionized) state. This work observed that this technology can be improved upon by increasing the ionization process. An obvious limitation of this technology cost of high rated inverter required to convert the direct current output voltage to alternating current being used by many devices.


Comparative Analysis of The Performances of a Combined and Non Combined Models Designs For Congestion Controls in Global System For Mobile Communication (GSM) Network[]


In this research work, a Combined Model for managing congestion in GSM network based on Call Priority, Handoff Call Buffer and Frequently Recent Call concepts is developed. Based on this Combined model, the performance of the GSM network is extensively evaluated using the key performance indicators which include; Call Set-up Success Rate (CSSR), Call Drop Rate (CDR), Call Completion Success Rate (CCSR) and Traffic Channel Congestion Rate (TCHCR). After the evaluation, the various values of these parameter indicators namely CSSR, CDR, CCSR, TCHCR are approximately ≥ 98%, ≤ 2%, ≥ 97% and ≤ 2% respectively which satisfies the Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC) acceptable benchmark for mobile operators. This paper also discusses different developed schemes which include Dynamic Channel Allocation (DCA), Automatic Call Gapping (ACG), Adaptive Call Admission (ACA) and Call Admission Control (CAC) for controlling congestion and providing good Quality of Service (QoS) in GSM networks. A comparison of the performance of this Combined Model with the existing system based on mobile cellular network Key Parameter Indicators as mentioned above reveals that this model has an improved performance (Quality of Service) over the existing system. Finally, the contribution of this research work is to make this designed (Combined) model a more reliable alternative to existing models for managing congestion in GSM network.
