COMMUNITY BUILDING SKILLS, INTERPERSONAL SKILLS AND MANAGEMENT COMPETENCE OF SCHOOL HEADS IN SIATON WEST 1 DISTRICT, DIVISION OF NEGROS ORIENTAL: A PROGRAM[]


This study employed the descriptive-correlational design employing the quantitative and qualitative approaches in research. This method is appropriate to determine the level of community building skills, interpersonal skills and management competence of school heads in public elementary schools of West District 1, Siaton, Negros Oriental. The findings of the study were the bases for a proposed program. Furthermore, a statistical treatment on correlation was employed on the three variables: community building skills; interpersonal skills and management competence of school heads. Hence, a program focused on community building and productivity was sought as output of this study.


Capturing and processing brain signals using Discrete wavelet transform[]


In this study, The possibility of reading and processing brain signals was studied for obtain a control command to move an arm to compensate the injured or disabled for their lost limb.Brain signals of a healthy person were captured according to a clinical protocol prepared for the purpose of the study and then a set of digital filters were used to analyze and classify these signals in order to obtain control command from them.As a result, we were able to read the brain signal using Neurosky and send it to the computer via Bluetooth technology, The signals were processed using Labview program and brain waves were isolated. We were able to analyze these signals according to the frequency and amplitude using wavelet transform and discrete wavelet transform, We used the discrete wavelet transform to distinguish the signal at the eye blink and execute a control order aiming to movement of automatic arm depending on eye blink.
